PageHum and LandingBoost

PageHum hears a site: whether the homepage answers, what visitors hit, and the one problem worth fixing this week. LandingBoost, our partner, reads the landing page itself. It scores clarity, relevance, trust, and action, and names the first edit to make. Linked, both sit on one board.

What shows up in PageHum

  • Your sites list gets a Landing page reading: the latest LandingBoost overall score for each site, and how it moved since the scan before.
  • Each site’s board gets a Landing page panel: the five scores, the First Edit, a score history scan by scan, and a link to the full report on landingboost.app.
  • The First Edit shows as far as your LandingBoost plan unlocks it. A free account sees the title and where it goes; the exact instruction appears when LandingBoost marks it ready. Warnings stay visible either way.
  1. Create an API key on landingboost.app/api-access(opens in a new tab). Every LandingBoost account can make one, free accounts included.
  2. Paste it on your PageHum account page. PageHum checks it with LandingBoost and reads your saved scans straight away.

What PageHum reads, and what it never does

  • It reads your saved LandingBoost scans, which costs you no scan credits, and matches each to a site by its address. www and no-www count as the same site; each page is tracked on its own.
  • It syncs when you open a board that has not synced in an hour, when you press Sync, and once a day, so scans you run on landingboost.app arrive by themselves.
  • It starts a new scan only when you press Scan on a board, after showing how many scans your LandingBoost plan has left. A scan takes 30 to 60 seconds. It never rescans on its own.
  • Each board follows the homepage unless you pick another scanned page. Other pages on the same site are listed with their latest score.

Your key

The key is checked with LandingBoost, then stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and tied to your account. PageHum never shows it again, never puts it in a page, and sends it only to LandingBoost. Unlink on your account page at any time, or revoke the key on LandingBoost. Scores already on your boards stay after an unlink.

What the scores are

They are LandingBoost’s reading of the page at the time of the scan. PageHum shows them as they come and does not turn them into a promise about conversions. Your board’s traffic and funnel, next to them, are what tell you whether an edit helped.
