Client groups

Give each client a group of sites, one invitation, and one view of their health. Pro includes three groups; Ultra includes any number.

Organize your sites

Open Clients from Your sites. Create a group with a name, optional contact email, and color. Select its sites; each site belongs to at most one group. Moving a site replaces its old group. Sites remain on your account when you delete a group.

Your sites has collapsible client sections and a group filter. The roll-up adds each site’s visitors for the selected timeframe; a person visiting two sites can count twice. Up and down follow current reachability, issues follow the board’s weekly readings, and the lamp shows the worst state. Sites with no group appear under Ungrouped.

One invitation for the whole client

  • Invite a viewer or editor by email. The link works for seven days and must be accepted with the invited address.
  • Membership covers all sites in the group, including sites assigned later. Viewers read; editors can manage site checks and issues. Billing, group management, site deletion, and account ownership stay with the owner.
  • A person uses one team seat on every site. Pending invitations reserve seats too. Direct and group access for the same address use one seat together. A move or invitation that would exceed any site’s limit is refused as a whole.
  • Remove a member, detach a site, or delete the group to remove its grants. Separate direct site memberships stay. The stronger of a person’s direct and group roles applies.

Members can leave the group from Clients and choose alerts separately on each site’s board. A direct membership’s alert setting takes precedence if both exist.

Status page and combined report

Each group has a public status page listing its sites’ public readings as components. It does not show the contact, membership, traffic, or private board issues. On Ultra, the owner’s account brand applies to this page, invitations, and reports.

Save a contact email and enable monthly reports to send one email with every site’s report, a combined PDF, and a signed web link. The group’s one contact is separate from each site’s individual report recipients. Reports cover the previous UTC calendar month and go out in the first three days, subject to email delivery. Preview or send last month from Clients; manual sends are limited to once an hour.

Web links expire after 90 days and use saved snapshots. Reopening a preview renews its snapshot’s retention for the new link: sites added later never appear in an old report link. Unsubscribe stops group reports. Verified permanent email bounces stop reports to that contact until the owner corrects the address.

API

GET /api/v1/groups lists groups and POST /api/v1/groups creates one. Use GET, PATCH, or DELETE /api/v1/groups/:id to read or manage it. All changes need the write scope and group ownership. After creating a site, attach it with {"action":"attach","siteId":"s_…"}. Site creation and assignment are separate operations.

GET /api/v1/sites includes a group field and accepts ?group=UUID or ?group=ungrouped. Read a combined snapshot and web link at GET /api/v1/groups/:id/report?month=2026-09. See the API reference and OpenAPI schema for actions and responses.
